Role: SEND Teaching Assistant
Start date: ASAP!
This is a term-time only, contract role starting ASAP and finishing in July 2024 with the hopes that the successful candidate will transition to a permanent contract with the school from September 2025, if not earlier.

anzuk are excited to be partnered with a large two form entry primary school with excellent facilities as well as its own nursery class, special needs support centre, extensive grounds and forest school! They have recently been awarded a 'Good' by Ofsted in every category and are looking for an 'Outstanding' Teaching Assistant to continue to nurture and support the development of the students and the school!

As a Teaching Assistant your key responsibilities will be to:
Work with the classroom teacher to provide support for primary school students
Work with individual students on a 1:1 basis or in small groups to reinforce learning concepts and provide additional support
Foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment that encourages learning and positive behaviour
Collaborate with colleagues, parents/carers, and community members to create a holistic and supportive educational experience for all students
Work closely with students who have Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) within mainstream classes, or within the dedicated special needs centre within the school The Ideal candidate will:
Have demonstrated experience working in Education or similar setting
Have exceptional communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents/carers
Have a passion for education and a commitment to ongoing learning and professional development
Be a reflective and engaging educator with the drive to make a positive difference in children's lives
Be punctual and organised
Be able to build rapport with students and staff easily, cultivating a community with strong core values
Have experience working with or show a willingness to work with SEND students Why work with us?
