Planning lawyer NQ – 3 years’ PQE LONDON

Directories-listed Planning team in London is looking to recruit a Planning lawyer of 0 to 3 years’ PQE. The team undertakes a huge variety of both contentious and non-contentious matters. Fee earners are exposed to work from across the country and you will gain exposure to an exciting and varied range of work, including: • Providing expert legal advice on a wide range of planning and environmental matters including planning applications, environmental impact assessments, planning and highways agreements, planning appeals and judicial review, planning enforcement, listed building consent applications, and compulsory purchase • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating legal documents such section 106 agreements, section 278 agreements, planning conditionality, and agreements on environmental liabilities • Advising on planning and environmental issues arising in real estate, corporate and financing transactions, including carrying out due diligence, reporting, and negotiating contractual provisions such as planning and environmental warranties, indemnities, and conditions precedent and subsequent • Assisting on Planning appeals • Staying updated with changes in planning and environmental laws/regulations; provide proactive advice to clients accordingly..

The successful candidate will actively support business development and marketing initiatives and also participate in firm-wide and departmental training sessions.
