Your Role
As an Electrical Inspector, you'll take ownership of a key area of the plant, ensuring engineering assets are running smoothly and efficiently. You'll be the go-to expert for detecting any issues before they become problems, helping to keep the plant safe and productive. Your responsibilities will include:
Proactively identifying and addressing any deviations in equipment performance
Ensuring routine maintenance tasks are carried out efficiently and to the highest standards
Supporting electrical maintenance technicians and ensuring all tasks are completed safely and effectively
Working with contractors to ensure jobs are completed on time and to the required quality
Utilising predictive maintenance techniques to keep equipment running optimally
Keeping equipment documentation and drawings up-to-dateWhat You'll Need
Experience as an electrical maintenance technician, electrical inspector, or electrical engineer within a manufacturing environment
An NVQ level 3 or higher in electrical engineering
A solid understanding of preventive maintenance programs and tools
Knowledge of predictive maintenance techniques to prevent downtimeIn return, the electrical inspector will receive a salary between £36,000 - £40,000 (working DAYS Monday to Friday), plus a bonus of up to 5%, a pension, and a cash healthcare plan.
