Full Stack & Backend Developer

Surface is looking for a Full Stack & Backend Developer to join the team. Our field is the implementation of Omnichannel, E-Commerce, Integration and Integrated Logistics solutions. You will work within a team of architects, analysts, web developers, creatives, web marketers, and web copy experts, in a collaborative and constantly evolving atmosphere. Our approach is to encourage continuing professional development. Duties: Management of every aspect of all company platforms, providing regular maintenance, updates and optimization, checking for and correcting any errors, bugs or malfunctions. Implementation of new functions and innovations. Creation of a new omnichannel platform. Improving site visitors’ user experience, offering solutions and improvements. Defining and coordinating the graphic and design elements of each project. Technical Stack: Laravel and PHP MySql/MariaDb/NoSql Redis Rabbit/Kafka Amazon AWS CDN and serverless in edge worker typescript API Excellent knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript Familiarity with versioning systems (GIT) CI/CD Requirements: Ability to work within a team to delineate, design, and create new functionalities in a dynamic work environment. Ability to meet deadlines. Ability to organize and plan workload. Ability to analyze, design and develop software. Contribution to the discovery, evaluation and implementation of new technology to improve development efficiency. Excellent interpersonal skills. A goal-driven mindset. A passion for technology. University degree or extensive working knowledge in the field of IT. The ability to define priorities and work autonomously. Considered a plus: Several years of experience working with Laravel and PHP, and Java. Management of processes and queues. Marketplace. Basic knowledge of Unix and Docker systems. Payment systems. Familiarity with cloud service providers (AWS, Google Cloud Platform). Familiarity with Agile Programming, Test Driven Development. Collaboration on open-source projects and/or personal projects. Contract: Full-time work schedule - Work week Monday - Friday. Freelance candidates will not be considered. Remuneration: commensurate with the candidate’s experience and professional abilities.
