**Job Title:** Mammo Tech - Imaging Specialist

**Shift:** Day - 5x8, 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM, Monday to Friday

**Guaranteed Hours:** 40 Hours per week

**Experience:** Minimum 1 year as a Radiologic Technologist and 1 year in Mammography preferred

**License:** Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Radiology Technology, currently ARRT registered

**Certifications:** ARRT Mammography, ARRT Radiography, Basic Life Support (BLS) or BLS Instructor

**Must-Have:**
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and under pressure
- Strong customer service orientation
- Attention to detail and multitasking ability
- Competence in mammography and associated procedures

**Job Description:**
- Assist in providing safe, age-appropriate care through diagnostic exams as per department procedures.
- Obtain clinical history, assess contraindications, and ensure correct patient identification.
- Review radiographic images, release patients, and respond to emergencies with critical thinking.
- Use sterile techniques and maintain patient privacy and comfort.
- Adjust equipment technique and report malfunctions for timely repairs.
- Maintain a clean, organized department and equipment according to infection control policies.
- Explain procedures clearly to minimize patient anxiety and ensure cooperation.
- Participate in training and orienting new employees.
- Produce high-quality images, ensuring all studies align with accreditation standards.
- Perform quality control tasks such as scanning acrylic phantoms and documenting results.
- Maintain departmental supplies and keep the supervisor informed of ongoing responsibilities.
- Adhere to all policies, standards, and codes of conduct.

Wear Caribbean Blue or Pink scrubs while on duty. Perform routine quality control activities weekly.
