PLANNER
Location: Newcastle
Pay Rate: £(Apply online only) per day (Inside IR35)
Duration: 12 Months + possible extension
I am currently recruiting for a Planner to work on a major civils project based in Newcastle.
PLANNER RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for the production of P6 programmes and schedules underpinning the clients main delivery, specifically construction.
Demonstrate a clear level of planning control, governance and reporting
Management of plan tracking and progress reporting production and ongoing maintenance of standard output reports
Plan resource levelling to smooth out resource overloads, future forecasting of resourcing and the generation of cost models based on plan contents.
Developing and maintaining detailed real-time schedules for single projects across multi-discipline and multi-functional teams
Providing consistent and high integrity schedules to be used for day-to-day tasking, resource allocation, progress reporting and long-term planning
PLANNER REQUIREMENTS:
Previously worked in a Planner based role/position
Previous experience working on major infrastructure projects consisting of Heavy Civil works
Familiar with P6 planning software and able to plan from first principle
Extensive experience in programme and project management, project planning, including programme controls, project review, and cost and risk analysis
Educated to professional level with a relevant degree or equivalent qualification
Experience in civils contracts
