HSE Specialist /Advisor Duration: 12 months - Full time contract Work Location: Milan, Italy Summarized Job Description or List of position Responsibilities/duties: Establish and ensure the implementation of project HSE plan. Leads all the HSE aspects of the projects. Develop and implement a safety program for each site to capture specific risk. Develop a contractor training program specific for site, in compliance with the client HSE policies. Develop and propose strategies improving HSE management for the Project. Set up an effective Accident Prevention Plan and a contingency plan. Lead regular inspections and audits on construction site Establish HSE Reporting for the Project. Set and Enforce Safety Policies. Coordinator HSE Training Programs. Investigate Injuries and Accidents. Make on-site inspections. Develop, monitor and enforce job safety analysis. Prepare and Submit reports. Excellent leadership and team building skills and being able to influence decision makers. Familiarity with behavioural based safety systems, risk analysis / job safe analysis methods, emergency response and crisis management procedures. Familiarity of Industry Standards and relevant industry HSE regulations and requirements. Minimum Academic Qualifications: NEBOSH Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent, NEBOSH Certificate in Construction Health and Safety. Minimum Work Experience: 10 years plus: Proven experience in providing health, safety and environmental management advice in a construction and project environment. Preferred experience in Oil & Gas projects (steel structures, piping and pressure vessels fabrication & construction). Familiar with all construction risks (working at height, Lifting, confined space, welding/ grinding/cutting, etc). Able to perform risk assessment and prepare risk assessment report. Good experience with SIMOPS. Others: Language : Italian English Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, including the skill to explain complex concepts simply.
