Energy Civil Engineer Posting Date: 19 Sep 2024 Location: Rozzano, IT, 20089 Contract Type: Permanent Division: Energy Engineering Solutions Level of experience: Senior RINA is currently recruiting for a Energy Civil Engineer to join its office in Milano, Italy within the Energy Engineering Solutions Division. Mission RINA is looking for a Civil Engineer in the Oil & Gas and Energy sector. The successful candidate will work on multiple projects, coordinating with colleagues from the same team and from different departments, clients, and suppliers. Key Accountabilities Development of concept design and feasibility study relating to assets in the Energy sector. Development of civil engineering documentation in the Basic, FEED, and Detail design phases, including design basis, structural modelling, and calculation reports. Use of calculation software, e.g., SAP2000, STAAD Pro, etc. Provide support to engineers or engineering teams by gathering data for permit applications and submitting documentation. Prepare project deliverables (technical reports, project performance documentation, and engineering drawings). Prepare progress reports and present them to engineers and other personnel. Ensure all assigned activities are executed in accordance with the RINA QMS. Answer contractor questions on behalf of the supervising engineer and serve as a liaison between engineering and construction personnel. Qualifications More than 2 years of experience in process engineering. Willingness to travel in Italy and abroad. Fluency in English and Italian. Effective decision-making skills. Ability to see the big picture and reinterpret situations appropriately. Emotional management skills. Client-oriented approach. Ability to earn trust and embrace diversity. Commitment to sustainable development. Forward-thinking and action-oriented. Ability to build networks and forge trust relationships. Education Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
