Organization: Grid Technologies Business Unit: Products Employment Type: Full-time Experience Level: Early Professional A Snapshot of Your Day: The candidate will be employed within the engineering team of the Siemens Energy Transformers factory in a multi-ethnic, multicultural, upbeat, and dynamic context. The resource will be responsible for the development of transformer projects based on the customer's technical specifications. This role provides the opportunity to develop and consolidate relations and knowledge with both internal departments (Production, Quality, Purchasing) and suppliers, as well as with the customer. How You’ll Make an Impact Perform important parts of mechanical design and prepare technical documents for the construction of power transformers, according to customer specifications, quality requirements, and internal rules, using 3D tools. Prepare technical documents (drawings, specifications) for the procurement of components and assemblies and for the customer. Work collaboratively with other design groups in the Engineering department. Cooperate with company functions (Project Management, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Quality). In the medium to long term, you will be able to: Define the external layout of the transformer, seeking solutions that fulfill customer needs while considering constructional and safety aspects. Collaborate with other Siemens engineering groups and R&D teams to support product improvements. Participate in internal projects for specific improvements in design and engineering processes. What You Bring Bachelor's / Three Years Master's Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronic, or Industrial Engineering. Good knowledge of English and Italian, both written and spoken. Good general IT skills, particularly with Microsoft Office products and 3D CAD tools. Aspiring to develop a technical path and grow in a cooperative environment. Strong orientation towards achieving targets, customer service, initiative, autonomy, and teamwork.
