B. Braun Avitum Italy, leading company in the field of medical device, is looking for a Strategic Buyer. Duties and Responsibilities Independent analysis and observation of the international procurement market. Management of international purchasing activities for existing and new projects. Identification, assessment, and development of suppliers, support in qualification. Conduct price negotiations and develop cost reduction potential as well as “make or buy” concepts. Drafting and negotiating purchasing contracts (including service, work, and framework contracts) with suppliers. Collaboration in supplier audits. Professional Competencies Successfully completed studies in the field of economics, industrial engineering, or a comparable degree. Professional experience in the above-mentioned or comparable position, desirable in an international environment. Very good knowledge of English. Personal Competencies Strong negotiation skills as well as very good communication and teamwork skills. Strong analytical and strategic skills.
