COMMISSIONING ENGINEER

The position The Commissioning Engineer ensures the development of the deliverables of the Project pertaining to commissioning within the project. He operates in compliance with the quality requirements, health/environmental/safety regulations and following the stated procedures. The position is meant to spend his professionality both in home office at our HQ in Milan and on site when required by the project he is assigned to. Activities and main responsibilities You will be responsible for: Preparing the project documents and deliverables (such as systems breakdown structure, mark-up of P&I diagrams, schedule of activities, pre-commissioning manual, pre-commissioning and commissioning procedures) in compliance with the project requirements; Coordinating with the Engineering Dept. the preparation of the engineering database and follow the updating, in home office and at Site; Analyzing the Construction completion packages (DAC) once issued from construction and advising CMM or CST about the status of verified DAC prior to formal acceptance by the Commissioning team; Facilitating the completion of the pre-commissioning activities through the check of certificates and punch list; Participating in reviewing and planning of availability of lubricants, chemicals, catalysts and other products required for commissioning; Collecting and organizing the discipline DAC punch list ensuring that the punch lists issued by the commissioning team are properly filled and correcting them when required before forwarding them to QC. Person specification Your skills are: Education: Bachelor/Master degree in Engineering / Technical matters or alternatively a technical diploma with relevant Commissioning work experience; Attention to detail, self-motivation and direction, with a strong bias towards timely performance; Availability to be temporarily relocated abroad when needed; Ability to adapt to a changing, fast-paced environment; Develop troubleshooting, problem solving, and creative/innovative thought processing skills; Excellent communication and management skills, possessing a high level of organizational ability; Fluent in English spoken and written.
