We make our work our daily passion. www.brain-tech.it Posizione: Brain Technologies is searching for: a talented Firmware Engineer with expertise in firmware development to join our dynamic team. Activities Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware engineers, software engineers, and product designers to develop and implement firmware solutions for home appliances electronics systems. Design, develop, and maintain firmware codebase for the control and operation of electronics components such as touch controls, displays, LEDs, audible feedback systems, etc. Implement features and functionalities according to product requirements, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and efficiency. Conduct thorough testing and debugging of firmware to identify and resolve issues, ensuring compatibility with hardware components and overall system integrity. Optimize firmware algorithms and performance to enhance user experience, responsiveness, and energy efficiency. Collaborate with quality assurance teams to define and execute firmware testing procedures, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Stay updated on emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in firmware development, applying relevant advancements to improve product offerings. Provide technical support and expertise to internal teams and external partners throughout the product development lifecycle, including prototyping, production, and post-launch support. Place: Gallarate Requisiti: Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field. Proven experience in firmware development for embedded systems, with a focus on user interface design and implementation. Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, and assembly language for embedded systems. Strong understanding of microcontroller architectures, peripherals, and communication protocols (e.g., UART, SPI, I2C). Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS) and embedded software development tools (e.g., compilers, debuggers, IDEs). Familiarity with hardware schematics and PCB layout considerations, understanding of analog and digital circuit design principles is a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to debug complex firmware issues and optimize code for performance and reliability. Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment.
