Data warehouse and reporting developer - Ispra - On site

We are on the lookout for a Data Warehouse and Reporting Developer to join our team for working with European Institutions based in Ispra in an On-site position. Your Role Back Office: Maintain the JRC data warehouse (Oracle DBMS) with ETL processes for loading data from Commission, JRC, and external sources. Design BI and visualization solutions (SAP BI R4.2, Qlik Sense); assess ETL and analytics tools. Administer SAP BI and Qlik Sense test platforms, manage access and security, assist with deployment, and maintain documentation. Monitor system performance using tools like Elastic/Kibana. Handle customer requests via IT service management platforms (SMT/ServiceNow). Track tasks and changes in JIRA for real-time progress monitoring. Manage job schedules, generate on-demand reports, and automate report delivery and intranet publishing. Maintain and enhance dashboards and interactive tools. Business Partner Support: Provide analysis and support for master and reference data interfaces. Gather requirements, perform data analysis and modeling, and design physical databases. Integrate new data sources and develop standardized services. Design, implement, and maintain BI and data visualization solutions. Ongoing / Planned Developments: Enable external system interoperability (GOVIS, SUMMA). Support HR/financial processes; manage staff data for Commission systems and migrate reports to Qlik Sense. Maintain mission dashboards for business continuity. Track strategic KPIs with BI reports aligned to business needs. Maintain JRC Project Browser and PUBSY dashboards; support PUBSY Data Bridge for visualization. Design Qlik Sense dashboards for JRC Harmonia, including collaboration maps. Update data sources and dashboards per audit outcomes, including WP 2024. Strategic Planning: visualize JRC’s knowledge production and external collaborations. Site Management: provide data for decommissioning, logistics, and safety dashboards. Develop pilot dashboard for Directorate operations. What’s in it for you? Specific professional experience of more than 1 year in the following technologies is required: Business analytics and visualization tools (Qlik Sense and/or Power BI). Database (Oracle). Experience in Data analysis and modeling, and Data visualization best practices will be considered an advantage. The candidate should also have working knowledge of agile development methodologies.
