Field Service Engineer

Job Description Our company Renishaw SpA is the subsidiary of the Renishaw group that markets and supports all Renishaw products in Italy. Following a growth of its operations in the Additive Manufacturing sector, we are looking for a new experienced teammate to join us as an Additive Manufacturing Service Engineer, based at our site in Pianezza, Italy. The role The position requires to provide a high standard of service and support to every Renishaw AM machine customers, enabling them to maximise the expected benefits from their investment in a Renishaw product. This opportunity would ideally suit someone with servicing experience within Machines Tools, Printer industries or other industries where electro-mechanical engineering support is required. Main responsibilities Installation and commissioning of AM systems Providing training for customer AM machine operators Service and support for the Renishaw AM product line: this will include maintenance of and upgrades to electromechanical, and/or machine software and optical assemblies Regular travel in Italy and some travel abroad Key requirements Engineering background, preferably with experience in machinery service and maintenance At least 2 years of experience in field service, in a similar role Fluent Italian and English (spoken and written) Good written and verbal communication skills Customer-oriented attitude Commercial awareness Methodical and systematic approach to problem solving Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills IT literacy Category B driving license Desirable requirements A practical understanding of metal AM laser systems and electrical equipment Knowledge of machine software systems – PLCs, HMI and particularly user software What we offer Permanent and full-time contract Smart working Salary according to profile’s competences Company car Location: Pianezza (Turin) and additional benefits, such as: Discretionary annual bonus Training customized initiatives Long-term opportunities for professional development in an international company Referral program with paid compensation Online wellbeing benefits A collaborative and inclusive culture of sharing and teamwork J-18808-Ljbffr
