Responsibilities Understand complex computer systems and technical cyber security terms. Determine requirements from the test (i.e. number/type of systems to be tested, methodology to be used, etc.). Plan and create penetration methods, scripts, and tests. Simulate security breaches to test a system's relative security. Create reports and recommendations from the findings, including the security issues uncovered and level of risk. Advise on methods to fix or lower security risks to systems. Present findings, risks, and conclusions to management and other relevant parties. Consider the impact that the 'attack' will have on the business and its users. Understand how the identified flaws could affect a business, or business function, if not fixed. Other Duties We might ask you to perform other tasks and duties as your role expands. Your Skills, Experience, and Qualifications Required Master's degree with distinction in Computer Science/Engineering, or an equivalent degree. Good knowledge of IT security issues, management systems (ISO 27001 etc.) and data protection. Two to five years of experience in information security and IT risk management. Strong working knowledge of current IT risks, security implementations, computer operating and software programs. Ability to interact with a wide range of people from different backgrounds and races. Excellent learning, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills. Excellent knowledge of the English and Italian language.
