Engineering Manager/Lead - Full Stack Development

Responsibilities : - Lead and manage the engineering department, providing strategic direction, guidance, and mentorship to a team of engineers. - Drive technical excellence and innovation within the organization, staying updated with the latest industry trends and emerging technologies. - Collaborate with product management, design, and other stakeholders to define project requirements, objectives, and deliverables. - Oversee the entire product development lifecycle, from concept and design to development, testing, and deployment, ensuring timely and successful project delivery. - Develop and implement engineering best practices, processes, and methodologies to improve efficiency, quality, and productivity. - Provide technical guidance and support to engineering teams, assisting in problem-solving and decision-making processes. - Foster a culture of collaboration, knowledge sharing, and continuous learning within the engineering department. - Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and security protocols in all engineering activities. - Stay abreast of market trends, customer needs, and competitor offerings to inform product and technology roadmap decisions. - Evaluate and onboard new technologies, tools, and frameworks to enhance development processes and capabilities. Qualifications and Skills : - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. - Experience in full stack development (Node/Java/Python/Golang). It is not a barrier - Proven experience in a leadership role, such as Engineering Manager, Head of Engineering, or similar, with a track record of successfully leading and delivering complex projects i - Demonstrated experience in managing and mentoring engineering teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment. - Deep understanding of software development methodologies, agile practices, and project management principles and expertise with Python/Java/Golang - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions. - Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with evolving priorities and requirements. - Strategic mindset, with the ability to align engineering efforts with business goals and objectives. - Familiarity with cloud technologies, scalable architectures, and modern software development practices. - Individuals coming from IIT/NIT's and great product companies - An engineering leader with experience leading teams of high-growth, dynamic environments, ideally within leading tech companies. - Someone skilled at developing talent, fostering technical excellence, and driving impactful AI solutions. - A strategic thinker ready to work closely with product and executive teams to bring ambitious AI-powered roadmaps to life in a fast-moving startup environment.
