Job Description

Becoming a technician at Auto Torque means working on a variety of performance vehicles. You will be required to carry out modifications and alterations, restoration work along with general servicing and maintenance. Working as part of a highly skilled team, you will have the ability to problem solve, think analytically and work independently as well as being a team player.

Hours: 08:00 17:30

Salary: £ Competitive based on experience. Bonus and overtime available.

Key responsibilities:

  • To undertake maintenance, service and repair activities on motor vehicles to the highest standard.
  • Carry out all work completely and effectively whilst adhering to manufacturers scheduled times to maintain efficiency
  • Effectively record details of diagnosis, work completed, and components utilised in line with company standards
  • Keep work areas clean and tidy, organised and safe from hazards to health and safety
  • To be able to work independently and as part of the team when required
  • Work closely with the Service Manager and ensure they are kept informed of the progress of work on customer vehicles and they are fully briefed on work completed.
  • To be aware of the importance and implication of maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and work to ensure they are met at all times

Person requirements:

  • Minimum of three years experience, ideally in the performance car market but not essential.
  • Take responsibility for the quality of your work
  • Excellent communication skills required in order to explain technical information to colleagues and customers accurately and concisely.
