Position: Technical Assistant, Insurance Location: Downtown Toronto - Hybrid (4 times per week on-site) Salary: up to $53,000 Job Type: Permanent Our client a boutique insurance brokerage is seeking a Technical Assistant to support the Commercial Construction team in providing attentive and effective client service, reinforcing and developing client/broker relationships. This role requires some previous insurance experience. Responsibilities: - Issue certificates of insurance and submit to insurers and clients. - Issue automobile liability cards and distribute as directed. - Confirm auto insurance for new vehicles with dealerships and submit to insurers. - Send second requests and follow up with insurers on outstanding endorsements. - Review endorsements for discrepancies, consulting with practice specialists as needed, and request re-issuance for incorrect documents. - Respond to Lienholder/Lessor/Mortgagee requests for insurance copies. Qualifications: - RIBO license is a nice to have - Previous insurance experience is needed - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Knowledge of insurance products, industry regulations, and underwriting processes is an asset.
