Magento Developer - PHP

We are seeking an experienced Magento Developer with a strong foundation in coding, software architecture, and server-side development. This role requires expertise in deployment management, cloud architecture, and robust integrations specific to eCommerce and Supply Chain Management (SCM). The ideal candidate will ensure reliable, scalable code across various platforms, leading projects from concept through delivery, and working closely with a team of developers to meet project milestones and objectives. Key Responsibilities : 1. Technical Development and Leadership : - Lead the development and integration of complex Magento architectures, setting coding and design standards. - Provide guidance on server-side performance optimization, scalability, and coding best practices. - Mentor team members, offering insights and solutions for high-quality code and effective problem-solving. 2. Cloud Architecture and Management : - Leverage major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) to architect, deploy, and manage scalable eCommerce solutions. - Optimize cloud resources to ensure high performance, reliability, and security of Magento applications, with a focus on cost management. - Oversee Magento hosting solutions and configurations on cloud platforms, ensuring uptime and security. 3. Version Control and Deployment : - Advanced proficiency in Git for version control, handling code integrations and version management across distributed teams. - Direct deployment and manage code pipelines for Magento across development, staging, and production environments. - Ensure deployment automation and maintenance of efficient CI/CD pipelines tailored to Magento. 4. Domain Expertise in eCommerce and SCM : - Apply extensive knowledge of eCommerce and SCM requirements to develop solutions that meet business objectives and improve customer experiences. - Understand Magento-specific customization needs for eCommerce, including payment gateway integration, inventory management, and multi-store configurations. 5. Marketplace and Platform Integration : - Proven experience in deploying Magento solutions across major marketplaces, with a deep understanding of integration and compliance standards. - Handle integrations with third-party logistics, order management, and ERP systems specific to SCM. 6. Operational Tools and Project Management : - Utilize project tracking tools (preferably JIRA) for workflow management, task tracking, and team collaboration. - Communicate project status, blockers, and dependencies clearly, ensuring alignment and visibility across all teams. Expertise in version control and cloud infrastructure, with hands-on experience in managing Magento hosting and deployment. 4. In-depth knowledge of Magento, including custom module development, API integrations, and performance optimization. Experience & Education : - Experience : 5 years in Magento development, with experience in technical architecture and project leadership. - Education : Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
