Data Analyst - Tableau/Power BI

Position Overview : We are looking for an experienced Data Analyst with a strong background in process mining, specifically using the Celonis Process Mining platform. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, especially the operations team, to analyze business processes, identify inefficiencies, and implement data-driven improvements. You will be responsible for managing and improving Celonis dashboards, performing data integration, and leveraging the platform's advanced capabilities to provide actionable insights that drive business performance. Key Responsibilities : - Use Celonis Process Mining to analyze and visualize business processes, identify bottlenecks, and uncover inefficiencies to improve overall business performance. - Work closely with the operations team and stakeholders to address and resolve open change requests within weekly sprints, ensuring timely and efficient problem-solving. - Create, modify, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports on the Celonis platform to present key insights and metrics for stakeholders. - Leverage Celonis' capabilities to perform process optimization by suggesting improvements based on data-driven insights. - Provide actionable recommendations to improve operational efficiency. - Ensure smooth integration of various data sources into Celonis, working with different business systems and data formats. - Implement data models that align with business objectives. - Engage with business users to understand their requirements, translate business processes into analytical models, and provide data-driven solutions. - Continuously monitor the performance of business processes and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to help track improvements and identify areas for further enhancement. - Ensure data accuracy and integrity within the Celonis platform by performing regular audits, checks, and validation of data sources. Required Skills & Experience : - Proven experience using the Celonis Process Mining platform for data analysis and visualization, with a deep understanding of how to leverage Celonis to model, analyze, and optimize business processes. - Solid understanding of how to integrate data sources into Celonis, including experience with data model logic, data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes. - Proficiency in writing SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from relational databases. - Experience with complex queries, joins, and data aggregation. - Familiarity with other data analysis tools (e.g, Excel, Power BI, Tableau) to supplement Celonis-based insights and provide a broader view of business processes. - Certification as an EMS Technical Expert or similar qualification is highly preferred. - Strong experience with process mining techniques and process improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma is a plus. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights. - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present complex data in an understandable and impactful way to non-technical stakeholders. Desired Skills : - Expertise in creating interactive and dynamic dashboards and reports using Celonis and other visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau. - In-depth knowledge of key business processes in finance, supply chain, procurement, or sales, and how these processes can be improved using process mining and data analytics. - Familiarity with advanced data analytics techniques, such as predictive analytics or machine learning, to help forecast future trends and optimize business processes. - Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams, particularly with business analysts, operations, and IT teams to ensure alignment of data and analytics with organizational goals (ref:hirist.tech)
