Job Description : ServiceNow Custom Application Development Senior Developer will be responsible to develop and articulate solutions for custom applications development requirements to satisfy business needs using best practices This includes development and maintenance of various components technical documentation and implementation guides Role Responsibilities : - He she will work with team to develop enhance custom application features and capabilities - Implement standardization and best practice for ServiceNow custom application development implementation - Develop custom applications and feature to satisfy business needs - Develop Flows Flow designer for custom applications and features - Develop queries reports and dashboards and Workspaces - Develop Inbound Email Actions - Develop integrations in ServiceNow utilizing ServiceNow table APIs scripted Web Services and custom REST APIs - Create and configure Business Rules UI Policies UI Actions Client Scripts SLAs Notifications and ACLs including advanced scripting of each - Import data into ServiceNow utilizing Scheduled Jobs Flows Import Sets and Transform maps - Follow coding standards and convention while development - Implement standards and best practices for maintaining the health performance and scalability of the custom app - Implement prototyping POC as needed - Work with customer team members to capture business requirements and translate them into appropriate technical solutions - Proactive responsive and focused on anticipating future requirements and or issues - Drive timely closure for assigned issues requests - Develop clear and concise technical process user manual documentation - Strong collaboration with stakeholders including internal customers stakeholders and vendors to understand challenges and gain consensus on improved system and operational solutions - Must have experience in implementation of ServiceNow Instance Upgrade Technical and Industry Experience : - Industry and project experience of 5 years with ServiceNow - At least 2 years hands on experience in developing custom app using App Engine and Flow Designer - Experience in implementing custom applications which include but not limited to custom tables catalog items Flows script includes portal widgets ACLs and business rules etc - Expertise with JavaScript HTML and CSS - Expertise in implementation of ServiceNow Instance Upgrade - Experience working in an IT Service Management ITIL Agile DevOps environment - Expertise in ServiceNow Coding java script business rules client scripts UI Policies etc - Knowledge on ServiceNow ITSM in ServiceNow - Experience on REST SOAP based integrations and inbound email actions - Sound knowledge of industry standards and methodologies - Strong analytical skills communication and presentation skills - Prior experience of working with globally dispersed virtual teams across a number of disciplines - Strong interpersonal skills with a collaboration mindset both within and outside the immediate team - Creative and solution oriented - Willing to take on new challenges and drive them to completion Certifications Preferred : - ServiceNow Certified System Administrator CSA - ServiceNow Certified Application Developer CAD - ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist ITSM CIS ITSM - ITIL v3 4 Foundation Skills : ServiceNow-Custom App Development (ref:hirist.tech)
