Data Scientist - Statistical Modeling

Job Title : Data Scientist Experience : 5 Years Location : Bangalore Job Description : We are seeking an experienced Data Scientist with a minimum of 5 years in the field, to join our team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in statistical analysis, machine learning, and data-driven decision-making. You will be responsible for interpreting complex data, developing predictive models, and working cross-functionally to drive strategic initiatives. Key Responsibilities : - Analyze large datasets to extract actionable insights, identifying trends and patterns. - Develop and implement machine learning algorithms and predictive models to solve business problems. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and design data solutions. - Perform data mining and analysis using various statistical and machine learning techniques. - Communicate findings through data visualizations and presentations, providing clear and actionable insights. - Ensure data quality and integrity by establishing and following data processing and cleaning procedures. - Keep up-to-date with the latest advancements in data science and machine learning. Required Skills and Qualifications : - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field. - Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in data science, analytics, or a similar field. - Strong proficiency in Python, R, or another data science programming language. - Experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, Scikit-Learn, or PyTorch. - Proficient in SQL and experience working with large datasets and databases. - Expertise in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to present insights effectively. - Solid understanding of statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and data mining. - Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) for data storage and processing. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail. - Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data in a clear and concise manner.
