Advanced Application Engineer - Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktop Administration

Job Title : Advanced Application Engineer Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktop Administration. Location : Bengaluru, India. Duration : 6 Months Contract. Experience Required : 7 years. Job Description : We are seeking an experienced Advanced Application Engineer with a strong background in Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktop Administration. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and management of Citrix solutions to provide a high-quality virtual application and desktop experience for our clients. You will play a key role in troubleshooting, performance tuning, and optimizing the Citrix environment to ensure seamless user experiences. Key Responsibilities : - Administration and Support : Manage and support the Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops environment, ensuring high availability and performance. - Design and Implementation : Design and deploy Citrix solutions for applications and desktops, focusing on best practices and security measures. - Monitoring and Troubleshooting : Monitor system performance, analyze issues, and implement solutions to optimize the Citrix environment. - User Experience Enhancement : Collaborate with stakeholders to understand user requirements and enhance their experience with virtual applications and desktops. - Documentation : Create and maintain technical documentation, including system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides. - Collaboration : Work with cross-functional teams to integrate Citrix solutions with other IT services and applications. - Staying Current : Keep up to date with the latest Citrix technologies and industry trends to recommend improvements and upgrades. Required Skills & Qualifications : - Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - Experience : Minimum of 7 years of experience in Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktop administration. Technical Proficiency : - Strong knowledge of Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, including XenApp and XenDesktop. - Proficiency in managing Citrix policies, user profiles, and application delivery. - Familiarity with Citrix Cloud and related technologies is a plus. - Experience with Windows Server and Active Directory management. - Understanding of networking concepts and protocols related to Citrix solutions. - Certifications: Citrix Certified Associate - Virtualization (CCA-V) or higher is preferred. Soft Skills : - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. - Strong communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams. - Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities. - Proactive and self-motivated with a passion for technology.
