Job Summary : Delta Air Lines is seeking a Lead Developer-UI to work in its Channels IT team, a pivotal function in Delta's revenue and Self-service team. you will be engineering the experience closest to our customer, and able to see the change you impact within days and weeks of the change. Join one of the worlds top airlines at the cutting edge of customer facing technology for delta.com Responsibilities include, but are not limited to : - Transforming business requirements into conceptual/logical application architectures - Determining feasibility & scalability of front-end solutions, interacting with business and product owners in order to define technical solutions for customer problems. - Production issue triage, management, and prevention as needed. - Technical definition and implementation for analytics, error logging/tracking, and other key functional customer interactions on delta.com - UI Design reviews for feasibility and impact analysis - Develop sustainable Accessibility compliant solutions. - Technical debt resolutions, prevention & code reviews - Analysis and implementation of Performance/Stability/Reliability initiatives - Research & Development of POCs & innovative new ideas for customer interactions with Delta -Assists in defining alternate solutions for the business problem. What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications) : - BE/B.Tech or ME/M.Tech or related field. - At least 6 years of hands-on development experience in a professional capacity using Angular, JavaScript, Typescript. - Experience in NGRX. - Prior experience in mentoring/leading. - 6 years of hands-on UI development experience utilizing Responsive Design. - Experience in AWS Lambda, Step Function, S3 and API Gateway, Route 53. - Experience with AWS Code Pipeline. - Awareness with AWS resilience and High availability concepts - Expert level development skills in Typescript - Design thinking, Focus on Test Driven Development, Embedded Security - Quality forward development practices, with automation at the forefront for continuous quality - Implementations using best practices for information security - Embraces Diverse people, thinking and styles - Consistently makes safety and security, of self and others, the priority - Solid understanding of web/mobile application architecture and security (OAuth, JWT, Spring Security) - Knowledge on Ui Accessibility - Proficient in Bootstrap or Foundation frameworks - Processing data via JSon - Experienced with JUnit, Mockito, Jasmine, Karma - Experience in git branching and code deployment concepts - Error tracking libraries, e.g., TrackJS - Experience in front end to API integration including building contracts using e.g., swagger in partnership with API teams What will give you a competitive edge (Preferred) : - AWS Certifications - Experience in working in an Agile team environment - Experience with Nx - App logging, telemetry, and monitoring - Experience in J2EE, XML, Struts, Spring, Java (Java 6), APIs, Oracle, and expanding into NoSQL database.
