The Director, IT Programs Integration is accountable for leading major transformation programs and projects that have a direct impact on the Parliament modernization and enhanced operations. This position drives multi-million-dollar transformative change in in-building systems, campus connectivity and related internal transformation projects for the House of Commons (HoC) and its Parliamentary Partners. This position is also accountable for positioning DSRP to capitalize on emerging and new technologies in support of its business agenda, as well as building and managing relations with all stakeholders, leveraging cooperation, fostering performance excellence and resolving problems. This role provides leadership in its forward-looking and integrated approach to governance structures, strategic planning, stewardship and program management of DSRP projects and programs for the House of Commons. Work-life balance /35-hour workweek 4 weeks’ vacation (minimum) Qualifications Education : Successful completion of a university degree in Information Technology or an acceptable combination of formal education, training and/or experience in the relevant fields. Experience : Extensive work experience (7 years) managing long-term projects and evaluating their impact on business operations, particularly in relation to complex building renovations, IT infrastructure, and the design requirements of parliamentary committee rooms, networks, and technologies essential for parliamentary functions; Proven track record of building and maintaining strong, multi-tiered relationships with stakeholders, including clients, senior executives, vendors and operational staff; Extensive work experience (7 years) applying program management principles and best practices, including strategic and business planning, risk and contingency management, financial oversight, human resources, asset management, and contracting services; Extensive work experience (7 years) in leading the delivery, assessment, and implementation of major IT programs; Proven experience influencing and negotiating with diverse stakeholders to align competing priorities and gain consensus.
