Senior Actuarial Consultant

We're looking to hire an Actuarial Manager for one of our top broader public sector clients. The successful candidate will lead complex actuarial projects, providing technical expertise and guidance to a team of actuaries. Additionally, our client is looking for someone to deliver accurate, timely actuarial services for internal and external clients, including valuations, forecasting, pricing, and experience studies. This position also collaborates with stakeholders and stays current on industry trends. Our client operates on a hybrid structure, requiring one (1) day a month on site . This is a 12-month CONTRACT opportunity. Responsibilities: Technical Leadership: Oversee actuarial work, ensuring accuracy and adherence to best practices. Project Management: Plan and execute projects, managing timelines and resources effectively. Analysis: Conduct actuarial analyses, including valuations, forecasting, and experience studies. Communication: Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, effectively communicating findings and recommendations. Industry Knowledge: Stay informed about actuarial trends, regulations, and industry best practices. Qualifications: Advanced actuarial degree (e.g., FCIA, FSA, FCAS). 10 years of actuarial experience, including project management. Strong technical skills and understanding of actuarial methodologies. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
