Nuclear Project Lead

Position: Project Manager – MP4 Level Vacancies: 1 Duration: 24 months Hours of Work: 35 hours per week (may extend to over 44 hours per week) Location: 889 Brock Rd., Pickering, ON (100% onsite) Resume Due Date: Tuesday, November 5, 2024 (5:00 PM EST) Job Overview: The position requires a Project Manager experienced in: Project Management Principles: Knowledge in scoping, risk management, budgeting, forecasting, estimating, and scheduling. Nuclear Facility Experience: Previous project management experience within a nuclear generating facility is advantageous. Engineering & Construction Management: Understanding of construction management methodologies. Communication Skills: Ability to develop reports, briefings, project plans, and presentations. Organizational & Leadership Skills: Must be organized, a self-starter, and able to work independently and as part of a team. Governance & Procedures: Strong adherence to governance with an analytical, questioning attitude. Responsibilities: Oversee the full project lifecycle from initiation to close-out. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. Maintain updated project schedules, forecasts, and risk assessments. Develop modification plans, contracting strategies, materials strategies, and execution plans. Qualifications: Preferred Certifications: PMP or P.Eng. Experience: Minimum of 5 years in the nuclear sector is highly advantageous.
