SAP ERP Solution Architect (REMOTE)

Here at DXC Technology we continue to significantly expand our SAP business across the UK and Europe. We are actively looking for SAP ERP Solution Architect to join our growing team. If you're passionate about engaging in the full lifecycle of SAP projectsfrom initial sales engagement to project delivery, this role could be perfect for you. You'll be working with clients across multiple industries in the UK and Europe, applying your subject matter expertise to help deliver value-driven SAP solutions.

As a virtual-first company, you will work primarily from home, with minimal travel requirements. We focus on three core drivers of growth: People, Customers, and Operational Executionthe foundation of our business and where we invest heavily.

Due to the nature of our client accounts Security Clearance is required and for us to obtain this for you, you must be a British National and have resided and worked in the UK continuously for the last 5 years. Unfortunately, we are unable to consider dual nationals or candidates with OCI (Overseas Citizenship of India) status currently.

About the Role

Opportunity Analysis

• Understand the client's context and requirements across various stages (pre-RfP, RfP, Proposal, and post-RfP).

• Validate opportunities by aligning business challenges, current technology architecture, and project scope with DXCs capabilities and offerings.

• Quickly understand client requirements and translate them into actionable proposals that resonate with the clients business needs.

Solution Design and Development

• As an SAP Solution Architect, you will advise on, design, and implement cross-functional SAP solutions that drive business value.

• Develop solutions for S/4HANA greenfield implementations, system rollouts, pure conversions, mixed scenarios, and Next Generation SAP Application Management Services.

• Ensure the solution addresses business objectives and stands out against competitors in terms of cost, quality, timelines, client effort, and risk mitigation.

• Define all elements of the solution, including:

  • Scope of services

  • Target architecture

  • Project schedule and roadmap

  • Delivery model & resource estimates (role, location, level, capacity)

  • Risk catalog and mitigation strategies

  • Proposal documentation

• Advocate best practices and manage cost targets for proposed solutions.

Solution/Project Delivery

• Lead and deliver SAP solutions (e.g., S/4HANA greenfield implementations, system rollouts, pure conversions) in a functional lead or Program Manager capacity.

• Serve as a Senior SAP Consultant involved in SAP upgrade, implementation, and rollout projects with direct client interaction.

• Collaborate in an international work environment, providing functional expertise on SAP processes.

• Facilitate requirements analysis/blueprint sessions using show & tell techniques, promoting standard SAP processes, identifying gaps, and driving configurations or customizations.

• Work closely with development teams to propose, configure, document, and test solutions that meet functional and technical requirements.

• Build and maintain strong client relationships based on trust and expertise.

Essential Requirements

• Minimum four full lifecycle implementations or rollouts (S/4HANA or SAP ECC) with active participation in all project phases.

• Extensive SAP business process knowledge and blueprinting experience as a functional consultant.

• Recent experience with S/4HANA Implementation, System Conversion, or Landscape Transformation.

• Proficiency in articulating and demonstrating S/4HANA functionalities, including Fiori.

• Strong knowledge of SAP Activate and Agile methodologies.

• Expertise in multiple SAP functional areas and familiarity with cross-functional processes.

• Experience in both business and IT environments, implementing and managing SAP applications.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to plan and manage your own workload.

• Extensive experience in consultative solution-building and SAP delivery.

• Established experience in project/program management.

• S/4HANA certification or other SAP certifications (preferred).

• Fluency in English (both spoken and written).

Special Consideration for Candidates with:

• Demonstrated performance in cross-functional SAP project delivery.

• Strong client consulting skills with a proven track record of success.

• Experience with additional S/4HANA components, such as PS, PM, or FICO.
