Electrical Engineer

Manpower Engineering are delighted to be working with a global Oil & Gas Company to find an Electrical Engineer to join their Engineering team in Fife.

In this role you will play an integral part in evaluating Electrical Engineering tasks that have been performed either internally or by contractors and sub-contractors, to ensure that the work meets the company standard, you will also be required to facilitate the effective execution of Electrical Engineering and design routines.

Day to Day Tasks

• Facilitate and coordinate Electrical engineering technical work products
• Evaluate the work carried out by contractors and sub-contractors
• Identify and assess deviations to Contract Technical Specifications and regulatory requirements
• Participate in Electrical engineering reviews at contractor's and subcontractor's locations
• Identify and assess deviations to Contract Technical Specifications and regulatory requirements
• Drive and promotes capital efficiency in engineering design

Person Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related engineering specialty, or equivalent professional experience
• Extensive knowledge of Electrical design standards, specifications, codes, and appropriate safety criteria
• You must be able to work to tight deadlines where priorities can change suddenly
• Proficiency if MS Office

Desirable Qualifications

• An 18th Edition qualification would be advantageous but not essential
• A CompEX 12 qualification

Salary is dependant on experience and is between £83,800 - £113,400 per annum
