Are you a qualified lawyer with significant experience relating to Commercial Law, technology and outsourcing contracts? Do you work for a highly regarded law firm in this arena? Your new role would be a challenging permanent opening as Legal Counsel- Commercial. Based in Glasgow, with hybrid working.

The role will will engage in negotiations of vendor contracts focusing primarily on technology procurement as well as agreements for procurement of other goods and services including consulting services, business process outsourcing, and information technology-related services.

In order to qualify for this excellent opportunity, you will be a qualified lawyer from a law firm, or in-house business, Other requirements include:

• Legal Degree, previous experience working on negotiating software licensing and development contracts, technology and business outsourcing transactions
• Demonstrable ability to quickly analyse problems and to devise and deliver appropriate solutions;
• This role is ideally suited to someone from financial services, but will consider other industry backgrounds for the role.
• Knowledge of global privacy laws would be beneficial.
