Job Title: Project Development Manager

Location: Hybrid

Contract: 6 Months (Inside IR35)

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Project Development Manager to lead the planning process for a major infrastructure project. The role will involve managing the submission of planning applications and engaging with internal teams and external stakeholders to secure necessary permissions and approvals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Planning Process Management: Oversee the development and consent process, ensuring the successful submission of planning applications and securing all necessary approvals.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Build and manage relationships with external stakeholders, including local authorities, community representatives, and regulatory bodies, to ensure smooth project progression.
• Project Leadership: Provide strategic direction to the project, coordinating with internal teams and external consultants. Lead the project through key decision-making stages.
• Compliance and Regulatory Oversight: Ensure all planning permissions and external consents are obtained in line with project requirements.
• Team Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams and external consultants to align project objectives with technical, commercial, and community needs.

Experience and Skills Required:

• Proven experience in infrastructure project development, particularly with planning processes.
• Strong understanding of planning permissions and securing consents for large-scale projects.
• Excellent leadership skills with experience managing multi-disciplinary teams.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience in budgeting and financial oversight for capital projects.
• Stakeholder management experience, particularly working with local authorities and community groups.
