Job Description

As a Talent Acquisition Associate , you will be at the forefront of ensuring a seamless hiring process, building strong relationships with internal stakeholders, and attracting top-tier talent. This is a 12-month fixed term contract based in our GTA office . WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU? Competitive compensation/pay package Employee Support and Mental Wellness programs Be part of a long-standing and stable industry leader WHEN YOU JOIN US YOU WILL: Conduct effective and timely shortlisting to ensure the most suitable candidates are seen by hiring managers. Be the expert in Quebec legislations regarding recruitment and selection processes, particularly in discrimination and data privacy regulations. Review job descriptions and ensure job advertisements are posted in an effective, clear, and appealing manner. Provide expertise in interpreting test results, shortlists, interviews, and assessment center performance. Act as a sounding board on candidate performance and corporate cultural fit. Ensure high candidate experience and professionalism by mastering recruitment tools and processes, and adopting new tools aligned with global talent acquisition strategies. Prioritize roles effectively and optimize the time to fill vacancies by tracking KPIs. Design and facilitate interviews and assessment centers. Administer and interpret psychometric tests, offering insights to hiring managers. Conduct targeted searches for key roles as required. Coordinate recruitment activity for overseas hires, internal transfers, and secondments. OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE: 1-2 years of proven experience in a Talent Acquisition role, focusing on experienced hires. Bilingual in French and English is required. In-depth knowledge of performance metrics, KPIs, and SLAs. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational and time-management abilities. Sound decision-making and critical thinking skills. Degree in Business Management or team leadership training is a plus. Experience in ATS usage and calibration.
