About the opportunity: The Administrator ensures all hourly employee data is accurately entered and coded in applicable Systems and provides ad-hoc support to the site. The attributes we are looking for: Ensure hours for all hourly employees at the site are accurately entered and coded in the time and attendance system on a weekly basis. Performs regular audits and testing of the time and attendance system (as required). Audits data related to employee pay, including deductions such as pension contributions, union dues, premiums or accruals for vacation. May calculate pension contribution and benefit premiums in accordance with the applicable CBA (pertains only to Victoriaville). Responds to HR related employee queries on benefits, payroll, policies, programs etc, and helps with accessing pay stubs or communicating documents with payroll. Liaises with departments to clarify, resolve, increase understanding and provide information when necessary. Enters PATS for all employee changes at the site (personal information changes, rate changes, position changes, new hires, transfer, changes of benefits, terminations) and validates that the changes are reflected in the company’s HRIS and the payroll system. Assist the Payroll department by identifying opportunities for improvements to processes. Ensures practices at plant are reflected in the time and attendance system. Provides administrative support for the plant such as processing invoices for union dues, managing documentation management of employee files, supporting new employees with onboarding. What you will bring: Post secondary education, minimum of a College diploma, or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience. Experience with payroll administration in a high-volume non-union environment is an asset. Must be bilingual for specific sites. Must be familiar with policies and procedures impacting time and attendance, benefits and pay i.e. OT/DT/Vacation/Sick Team Player that brings a positive attitude and approach to a fast paced and ever-changing environment High attention to detail and data accuracy with strict adherence to security policies and handling of confidential information Excellent organizational and communication skills and ability to handle multiple priorities Self-starter who is able to work effectively in a team as well as independently, ability to meet tight deadlines and problem solve. Ability to use HR systems and software, SAP HR application, Kronos time and attendance application, Microsoft Office products such as Excel and Word.
