Our team is seeking a proactive, reliable, creative and analytical Senior Product Planning Manager to join our product innovation team. The Role: As a Sr. Product Planning Manager in our dynamic video editing team, you will drive product innovation by leveraging your expertise in user research and data analysis. You will conduct in-depth studies to understand user needs and preferences, translating your findings into actionable insights that guide product development. Your knowledge of industry trends and emerging technologies will empower you to identify new opportunities and enhance our product offerings. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will ensure the successful execution of product plans and user experience improvements. Responsibilities: User Research & Data Analysis: Conduct in-depth research to understand user needs, behaviors, and preferences within the video editing landscape. Skills in design and launch surveys and user interviews Analyze user data from various sources, including usage statistics and customer feedback, to identify trends, pain points, and opportunities for product improvement. Develop actionable insights from user data to drive decision-making and prioritize product features and enhancements. Industry Intelligence Gathering & Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, competitive products, and emerging technologies in the video creation industry while leveraging AI technology insights to transform them into distinctive features for Filmora. Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities and pain points in the current product offering. Translate industry insights into product plans that align with the company's vision and user needs. User Experience Design Deeply understand the needs and pain points of video creators in different countries, and ensure the product delivers an intuitive and seamless user experience oriented. Create the metrics to measure and rate the product user experience Able to develop improvement plans based on UX issues identified from user insights and lead the implementation. Product Plan and Design: Translate business goals and user insights into detailed product requirements and specifications. Work with cross-functional teams, including R&D teams, UX teams, AI technology teams, marketing teams and Social Media teams , to ensure the successful execution of product development. Prioritize features and manage product roadmaps, ensuring timely delivery of updates and new features based on user and market needs. With the ability to write and facilitate Product Requirement Documents (PRD). What We're Looking For: 5 years of relevant experience , including 3 years in the tech industry ; experience with software products is a plus. Proven ability to conduct user research and analyze user data to drive product decisions. Strong analytical skills to identify trends, pain points, and opportunities for product improvement. Knowledge of the video editing industry, including trends, competitors, and emerging AI technologies. Ability to gather and translate industry insights into actionable product plans. Strong understanding of user experience design principles, with a track record of implementing UX improvements. Experience in creating and managing Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) and product roadmaps. Excellent collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams, including R&D, UX, AI, marketing, and social media.
