As a Talent Acquisition Specialist you will be responsible for overseeing the recruitment and hiring process within our eco-system. Your main objective is to attract, identify, and hire qualified candidates who align with the company's values and meet the required skills and qualifications for various positions. What You'll Do: Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies and sourcing methods to attract top talent. Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and requirements. Partner with hiring managers and the Sr. Coordinator, People & Culture to create, revise and post job descriptions on various platforms. Conduct candidate screenings, interviews, and assessments to evaluate their qualifications and fit for the role. Manage the applicant tracking system and ensuring a smooth recruitment process. Negotiate job offers and support the onboarding process for new hires when applicable. Create, monitor and analyze recruitment reports and metrics to improve the effectiveness of the hiring process. Build and maintain relationships with external recruitment agencies, universities, and passive candidates and other talent sources. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition. What You'll Need: 3 years of previous experience in talent acquisition or recruitment is essential. Experience with high volume recruitment, talent sourcing and the hospitality industry is an asset, A bachelor's degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is typically required. Strong understanding of various recruitment strategies, sourcing techniques, and best practices in candidate selection. Familiarity with different job boards, social media platforms, and other channels for attracting top talent. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are crucial for effectively interacting with candidates, hiring managers, and other stakeholders. Strong interpersonal skills are also important for building relationships with external recruitment agencies and talent sources. Strong analytical skills to assess candidate qualifications and make data-driven decisions. Ability to identify and address recruitment challenges and implement effective solutions. Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS), recruitment software, and other HR technologies is often required. Familiarity with data analytics tools and the ability to leverage technology for streamlining the recruitment process is highly valued. The ability to adapt to changing priorities, handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and work in a fast-paced environment is important for success in this role. Familiarity with relevant employment laws and regulations is important to ensure compliance throughout the recruitment process.
