Who are we looking for: We are seeking a Bilingual Business Analyst in Ottawa, ON, Canada, with a strong business acumen in the Manufacturing domain. The ideal candidate boasts a minimum of 3 years of hands-on expertise in the Manufacturing field, are proficient in both French and English to facilitate seamless communication and have a proven track record of excelling in a consultant role. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and define project requirements. Conduct thorough analysis of business processes, systems, and user needs to identify solutions and improvements. Create and maintain detailed functional and non-functional requirement documents, user stories, and use cases. Translate complex technical concepts into easily understandable language for non-technical stakeholders. Perform gap analysis to identify discrepancies between business requirements and current systems. Work closely with development teams to ensure accurate implementation of requirements and timely issue resolution. Participate in design and architecture discussions, offering insights to ensure alignment with business goals. Facilitate effective communication between technical and non-technical teams, fostering a collaborative environment. Perform quality assurance testing to validate that the software meets specified requirements and functions as intended. Assist in project planning, estimation, and risk management activities. Provide ongoing support and clarification to development teams during the software development lifecycle. Analyze user feedback and system performance data to recommend continuous improvements. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to ensure the software solutions align with current standards. Act as a subject matter expert for business processes, systems, and software functionality. Conduct training sessions and create user documentation to ensure smooth adoption of new software features. MUST Have Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience Minimum 3 years' experience within manufacturing Minimum 3 years in one or more of the following industries: Manufacturing; Energy & Utilities; Service Sector; Construction & Engineering; Shipping & Harbour Services; Aviation & Defence Minimum 1 year in client-facing roles Fluent in French and English Excellent written and verbal communication skills Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills.
