The IT Generalist will manage and support a wide range of IT functions to ensure the smooth operation of our AI-driven infrastructure. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a dynamic, startup environment and enjoys tackling a diverse array of technical challenges. You'll work closely with various departments, from engineering to operations, to ensure optimal performance of IT systems and security. Key Responsibilities: Provide day-to-day IT support across the company, troubleshooting issues related to hardware, software, and network systems. Manage and maintain IT infrastructure, including cloud platforms, servers, and internal systems critical to AI development and operations. Assist with the deployment and management of AI development tools and environments. Configure, install, and update systems (hardware and software) across the organization, including workstations, servers, and devices. Monitor and optimize system performance, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption to teams working on AI models and applications. Manage network infrastructure, ensuring secure and reliable connectivity across multiple locations. Implement and enforce cybersecurity protocols, including firewalls, encryption, and data protection measures to safeguard intellectual property and sensitive data. Collaborate with engineering teams to support specialized AI hardware and software needs (e.g., GPU setups, cloud AI tools, etc.). Manage backup and recovery systems to ensure the protection of critical data and systems. Assist with user onboarding, managing account setups, system access, and ensuring that users are equipped with the tools they need. Create and maintain IT documentation and best practices for internal users. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience. 3 years of experience in an IT support role, preferably in a startup or fast-paced tech environment. Strong understanding of networking concepts (LAN, WAN, VPN) and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Experience with Linux and Windows system administration. Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices, including firewalls, encryption, and backup/recovery solutions. Familiarity with AI or software development environments is a plus (e.g., knowledge of AI tools like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or GPU management). Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
