Aquatech is a specialized supplier of onsite groundwater management (dewatering/bypass) services and related monitoring of; groundwater, surface water, sewer infrastructure, water treatment and filtration systems, air and geotechnical parameters. The Estimator/Project Coordinator is a primary member of the team who will use their sound engineering background and experience in fluid dynamics to design comprehensive pumping systems. The Estimator/Project Coordinator must have problem solving skills and must be able to identify, understand, evaluate and provide reliable solution options to all technical issues to assure customer and staff satisfaction. French speaking an asset. In addition to technical support and customer communications, this role also includes project coordination with various departments within Aquatech as well as order processing and tracking. Job Responsibilities: Assist project management team in addressing customer requirement, system design, preparation of proposal and order processing. Design comprehensive pumping systems through conceptual design, basic engineering and detailed engineering phases. Basic project cycle phases will be expanded to include Identification of opportunity; pre-feasibility study; feasibility; implementation; efficiency and service monitoring, decommissioning. Process quotation, order entry, delivery of order, coordination with operations staff and vendors and resolution of return requests and quality issues through inventory management system. Attend site visits when needed. Identify and communicate customer's needs and sales opportunities to help future growth. Maintain open communications with staff for after-hours emergency responses in accordance with Qualifications : Preferably 2 plus years’ experience in a construction environment. Experience in drilling, pumping equipment and water treatment is an asset Very organized, heightened attention to detail, and punctual to deadlines. Strong verbal and written communication skills Proficient in Microsoft Office (Strong on Excel) would be an asset Sporadic exposure to outdoor weather, shop and job site conditions Valid Ontario G Drivers License and clean abstract.
