SAP SOM Consultant (31922)

We are seeking an experienced SAP SOM (Subscription Order Management) Consultant for a 3-month contract with a potential extension through July/August. The role requires an on-site presence two weeks per month at the office headquarters in Ottawa, Ontario, with the remainder of the work being remote. This role is for a project with a leading client in the postal services sector, requiring expertise in the SAP BRIM SOM area. Responsibilities: Lead and provide expert consultation on SAP SOM (Subscription Order Management) implementation and support projects. Handle configuration, customization, and integration within the SAP BRIM solution, focusing on subscription order management processes. Set up master data, product modeling, cross-catalog mapping, and order distribution infrastructure (ODI). Configure SD pricing for recurring and one-off charges for both postpaid and prepaid scenarios. Support the development and optimization of order-to-cash, subscription billing, and customer order management processes. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the SAP SOM module to ensure minimal disruption to business operations. Requirements: 4-5 years of experience in the SAP BRIM field, specifically within the Subscription Order Management (SOM) area. Strong knowledge of SAP Subscription Order Management processes, master data setup, product modeling, and cross-catalog mapping. Hands-on experience with SD pricing for recurring and one-off charges in postpaid and prepaid scenarios, as well as consumption rating. Proven experience (2-5 years) with SAP BRIM SOM implementation and support projects. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is an asset. Ability to work on-site two weeks per month and remotely for the remaining time. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Must be able to pass a security background check for US and Canadian residents.
