Procurement Officer, Purchasing Agent Ottawa, ON Canada The Strategic Procurement Officer oversees the supply chain procurement process, ensuring efficient acquisition of goods and services while adhering to policies and budgets KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Procurement Management: Oversee the full procurement process, ensuring compliance with policies Supplier Management: Build relationships with suppliers, negotiate terms, and resolve issues Order Processing: Review and approve purchase orders for accuracy Cost Negotiation: Assist in negotiating pricing and delivery terms Quality Assurance: Collaborate with quality control to ensure standards are met Reporting: Generate reports on purchasing activities and KPIs Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with other departments to align procurement activities REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related experience At least 4 years procurement experience Strong negotiation and supply chain management skills Effective communication and data entry proficiency Experience in NetSuite is a plus We are an equal opportunity employer, and we are an organization that values diversity.
