Security Solutions Architect (Contract Position) Number of Positions: 1 Filled: 0 Duration: 12 months initial contract, 24months potential extension Location: Ottawa, ON, CA / Calgary, AB, CA Must be eligible to work in Canada Primarily remote (required minimum 2 days on-site per month) Depending on the consultant’s location, travel to the client's head office in Ottawa is expected 1-2 days a month at their own expense (to be agreed upon in advance). Candidates must be eligible for Reliability level clearance (5 years in Canada) Required Qualifications & Skills • University degree or college diploma in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field. • Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISA, or CISM. • A minimum of five (5) years of demonstrated experience in Cyber Security • Demonstrated experience working in the field of Cyber Security Architecture. • Experience with risk management and security control methodologies and frameworks (e.g., NIST 800-53, NIST CSF, ISO 27001, SOC 2). • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain complex security and technical information to non-technical stakeholders. Additional Qualifications • Demonstrated knowledge of architecting and implementing technical solutions in an enterprise environment. • Demonstrated knowledge of Cloud Architecture and Operations (Azure). • Demonstrated knowledge of application security (SDLC).
