Exploration Manager

About: Our client, a mining and exploration company based in Canada, is looking to hire an Exploration Manager to join their team. This role offers remote work flexibility but will require occasional site visits for overseeing operations and managing field activities. Responsibilities: Plan and Manage exploration operations (trenching, drilling campaigns, soil sampling, geophysical surveys, etc.) Manage access, permitting and logistics for exploration activities Manage the core farm and operations in Schefferville including heavy logistics (dozers, graders, cranes, etc.) Manage the exploration team and technical operators in Schefferville Qualifications: 10-15 years of experience Qualified geologist with experience managing large drilling campaigns in Canada Ideally with experience in bulk commodities (iron ore, copper, coal, etc.) Entrepreneurial, self-reliant, and able to build a high performing exploration team in Quebec Safety conscious Can take on non-geological responsibilities and grow with the Iron Bear project Prefer someone who speaks French
