Job Description
We are Systematix, Canada's most tenured and trusted IT Consulting firm, and we are seeking an experienced C# Full Stack Develope r with expertise in both front-end and back-end development. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of C# and .NET technologies , along with significant experience in React, Angular, TypeScript, Kubernetes , and Microsoft Graph API . The role also demands proficiency in SOAP, JSON, SSIS, SQL Server , and SharePoint for a contract position with one of our key clients in the financial services sector. ABOUT THE PROJECT Our client is a prominent insurance provider in Canada, headquartered in the Winnipeg area. As part of its modernization efforts, it aims to reduce its reliance on legacy systems and processes. We are looking for a skilled C# Developer to join a small, dynamic team and enhance in-house initiatives, specifically a large data and document repository, and the governance and capabilities to ensure that simplicity and user adoption is ensured. Other functions like the development of middleware for legacy systems, integrating cloud applications, and managing backend functionalities are all potentially within the domain of your responsibilities. We are specifically seeking someone who embraces clean, modular development practices, avoiding large monolithic codebases, and who can rapidly deliver well-organized, efficient solutions. Experience with Graph API is crucial as the role requires integrating and interacting with various Microsoft 365 services. You will be responsible for building, enhancing, and maintaining scalable web applications that support key business objectives. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain full-stack applications using C#/.NET , with front-end development in React , Angular , and TypeScript . Work with SOAP and JSON protocols for integrating various services and handling data interchange between systems. Design and implement efficient database solutions using SQL Server and SSIS for data integration, ETL processes, and managing data workflows. Develop RESTful APIs and integrate Microsoft Graph API for seamless data access and manipulation. Leverage Kubernetes for container orchestration, ensuring high availability and scalability of services. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements, particularly for SharePoint integration and workflows. Perform code reviews, write unit tests, and ensure high-quality standards across the application. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across the software stack. Develop and maintain SharePoint solutions, including custom development, workflows, and site management. Implement continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, and optimize the deployment process. Ensure the application meets performance, security, and scalability standards. Key Requirements: Proven experience with C#, .NET Core, and .NET Framework . Strong front-end development skills in React , Angular , and TypeScript . Proficiency with SOAP and JSON for data exchange between systems. Extensive experience with SQL Server , SSIS , and database design , ensuring high performance and data integrity. Familiarity with SharePoint development, site management, and custom workflows. Hands-on experience with Kubernetes for managing containerized applications and scaling microservices. Experience integrating with Microsoft Graph API for enhanced data access. Understanding of cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS for application deployment and management. Solid grasp of DevOps practices , including CI/CD, automation, and containerization. Strong understanding of RESTful APIs , API security, and best practices for designing and consuming APIs. Experience working with version control systems like Git , GitHub , or GitLab . Nice-to-Have: Familiarity with Docker for containerization. Experience with SharePoint Online or Office 365 integrations. Knowledge of SSRS for reporting and analytics. ABOUT THE ROLE This is a 3-month contract with significant potential for spillover extensions (this is a large initiative), remote work is fine, with potential for ad hoc office visits - but none planned.
