Information Technology Asset Manager

Role: IT Asset Management Contract: 1 year Location: Montreal, QC Hybrid Role Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Team Lead to join our IT Asset Remediation Team for a one-year contract based in Montreal, QC. The Team Lead will serve as the primary escalation point, enforce global asset remediation processes, and ensure seamless task execution across international teams. This role involves close collaboration with risk, audit, and asset management teams to deliver regulatory compliance, while leading process improvements and overseeing team training. Key Responsibilities: Act as an escalation point for the OFFNET Asset Remediation Team, ensuring swift issue resolution. Enforce and ensure compliance with IT asset remediation processes and procedures across global teams. Oversee task processing and ensure timely completion of asset management activities worldwide. Analyze, validate, and confirm data dashboards and reporting for accuracy and compliance. Report on trends and new findings to both teams and senior management globally. Escalate issues to management and other global partners as necessary. Review, develop, and provide training to team members to enhance their skill sets. Maintain and improve the operations catalog and associated documentation. Lead the continuous improvement process, documenting lessons learned and providing feedback for strategic decision-making. Collaborate with risk, audit, and asset management teams to deliver regulatory-mandated IT hardware asset management programs. Required Qualifications: Experience: 5-7 years in data validation, inventory management, and reconciliation. Global Experience: Proven track record in managing and tracking a large number of tasks while adhering to governance policies and procedures. Data Analysis: Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to validate and present complex data clearly. Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to convey information effectively across global teams. ServiceNow Expertise: In-depth knowledge of ServiceNow, particularly in asset management processes. Hardware Asset Management: Comprehensive understanding of end-to-end IT hardware asset management. Leadership: Proven people management and interpersonal skills to lead and motivate teams. Risk Management: Solid understanding of risk management frameworks and methodologies. Technical Skills: Working knowledge of PowerShell, SQL, ServiceNow, Splunk, and Jira. Desired Certifications: ITIL certification PMP certification (preferred but not required)
