Billing Analyst

The Opportunity: This six-month remote contract offers a unique opportunity for an experienced billing professional to work with cutting-edge systems in a collaborative, high-energy environment. You’ll play a crucial role in ensuring accurate, customer-focused billing processes, managing inquiries, applying credits, and handling various customer requests—all while contributing to our client's mission of transforming data into actionable insights for retail and franchise clients. If you have a background in billing or accounting, exceptional NetSuite and Excel skills, and a passion for problem-solving, this could be the perfect opportunity for you What You Will Be Doing: Ensure accurate and timely preparation and delivery of customer invoices in line with contract terms and subscription agreements Work closely with the finance team to ensure proper revenue recognition Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or errors related to billing and revenue Oversee and manage billing cycles for recurring revenue, including any changes to customer subscriptions, upgrades, downgrades, or cancellations Maintain accurate billing data in the system, ensuring data integrity across all billing processes Success Criteria & Deliverables: At 6 Months: Demonstrate strong proficiency in the organization's billing processes, systems, and internal asset management tools Independently manage customer inquiries and handle support tickets with a high level of customer service Ensure accurate completion of daily billing transactions and maintain the integrity of the billing database Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy of billing processes Support the growth of the company's customer base by providing exceptional billing support and contributing to the overall success of the team What We Need From You: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred, or equivalent work experience 2 years of experience in billing, accounting, or finance roles, preferably within a SaaS or subscription-based company.
