Job Description
Project Manager (Permanent, Full-time) Closing Date: Sunday, October 27, 2024 Location: Edmonton, AB Overview: The Project Manager will play a pivotal role in linking ARTA’s departments together for organizational success on special projects and initiatives. This role is responsible for planning, overseeing and leading projects from ideation through to completion. It will require a range of internal and external stakeholders, most often managing several moving project parts simultaneously. Reporting to the Chief Integration Officer (CIO), the ideal candidate will be a proactive self-starter with excellent communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to budget constraints. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to ARTA's growth and success by enhancing collaboration between departments. What you will do: Create a priority list of all tasks in the workflow. Engage internal stakeholders through project scoping Develop project charters and schedules for assigned projects. Develop and monitor comprehensive project plans. Supervise projects to ensure they follow the required timeline Prepare and deliver presentations, briefing notes, and other materials to support project approvals, updates and implementation. Complete projects by coordinating resources and timetables with user departments. Manage the development of related project documents. Ensure compliance with approved scope and adherence to relevant policies, procedures, standards, guidelines, and strategic directions. Guide the transition of projects for ongoing implementation/operation as needed. Research, source and support the implementation of new systems. What you will have: Bachelor’s degree in related field (project management, business, engineering). At least 4 years of progressive and directly related experience. Project management accreditation (PMP) is an asset. Experience managing cross-functional teams consisting of both direct and indirect reports. Experience in the management of projects and project charter development. Experience with capital project delivery and prioritization is an asset.
