Technical Senior Manager/Director

Our client in the energy sector is looking for a fulltime permanent Manager/Technical Team Lead Location: Remote, with monthly visit to Toronto office Responsibiliti es Lead a team of developers for building out .Net tech stack cloud-based solution Architect and design complex systems, ensuring scalability, security, and maintainability. Utilize JavaScript/TypeScript, JQuery, Bootstrap, and CSS to enhance user interfaces and create interactive web experiences. Conduct thorough testing of applications and systems, identifying and resolving any issues in a timely manner. Mentor and guide junior developers, promoting best practices in software development and fostering a collaborative team environment. Continuously improve existing software through code refactoring, performance optimization, and enhancement of functionality. Drive the adoption of new technologies and practices to improve development efficiency and product qualit y. Required Ski lls 5 years experience as a Technical Manager 10 years of strong development experience and high proficiency with Microsoft .NET, C#, Entity Framework, MS SQL Server, T-SQL, ASP.NET, MVC, Razor, and Web API. Experience with Azure development, including Azure App Service, Azure Active Directory, Azure Identity Access Management (IAM), Azure SQL, Azure Service Bus, Azure Storage, Azure Key Vault, Azure Cosmos DB, etc.Proven experience in leading software development projects and teams. Proficiency in using web UI technology such as JavaScript, jQuery UI, Bootstrap, or similar tools. Expertise in algorithms and data structures. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) and Azure DevOps practices.
