Python Developer (Contract Position) Number of Positions: 1 Duration: 12 months initial contract Location: Toronto, ON, CA Must be eligible to work in Canada Hybrid position, 3d/w onsite in Toronto mandatory Roles and responsibilities: This job is responsible for driving efforts to develop and deliver complex data solutions to accomplish technology and business goals. The individual will build out data pipelines to source large volumes of structured, design, develop, and engineer the platform for high performance and scalability. Job expectations / responsibilities: Key responsibilities include leading code design and delivery tasks with the integration, meet functional/ non-functional and compliance requirements, coding solutions, unit testing, and ensuring the solution can be integrated successfully into the overall application/system with clear, robust, and well-tested interfaces. Job expectations include liaising with vendors and working with stakeholders and Product and Software Engineering teams to implement data requirements, analyzing performance, and researching and troubleshooting issues within system engineering domains. Job expectations include an awareness of development and testing practices in the industry Must have skills: A minimum of 5yrs of the following Python Quartz Oracle SQL / PLSQL Required Skills Python, Quartz experience with database knowledge Desired Skills Database, ansible, Splunk, data analytics
