Intermediate Hydrogeologist

We are seeking an Intermediate Hydrogeologist to join our team. This role involves contributing to a wide range of projects, from exploration to operational mining, with a focus on environmental and engineering components. PERKS AND BENEFITS: Competitive base salary of $80,000 to $110,000 Opportunities for professional development Work on a diverse range of projects Collaborative work environment Opportunities for local and international travel WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING: Perform hydrogeological fieldwork, including planning, drill supervision, and instrumentation installation Analyze and interpret aquifer testing data and develop conceptual models Work on environmental and engineering projects, including remediation systems and groundwater inflows Collaborate with geochemists, engineers, and structural geologists on interdisciplinary projects Prepare reports and presentations for both internal and external stakeholders Manage junior staff and project tasks, ensuring timelines are met WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE: Degree in geology, civil/geological engineering, or physical geography with a focus on hydrogeology or hydrology Minimum of 5 years of experience in related fields (mining industry experience preferred) Proficiency in groundwater modelling, aquifer testing, and installation of deep groundwater instrumentation Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to work independently in field conditions and as part of a team Willingness to travel and hold a valid driver's license Professional registration or eligibility to obtain it
