Job Title: Senior Java Developer Location: Mississauga – Hybrid – 3 days/week Term: Long term contract plus extension We are looking for a talented professional with strong technical skills to design and build innovative solutions using Java technologies within electronic trading space. As part of the role, you will collaborate with quants, trading and technology teams to analyze, design, build and continuously refine and enhance technical solutions using Java. Qualifications: • 10 years of hands-on development experience in Java technologies. • Experience in fast moving Capital Markets Electronic and Algorithmic Trading environment with working knowledge of Fixed Income and/or Equities. • Solid experience in building highly resilient trading solutions using industry standard low latency Java techniques. • Strong expertise in messaging technologies such as Solace, JMS, Kafka etc. • Excellent knowledge of Microservices and APIs • Sound knowledge for persistence technologies such as relational databases, NoSQL databases, off heap storages and distributed caches. • Hands-on knowledge of Linux / Unix • Experience working with senior Quants, Traders and Technology Managers • Good verbal and written communication
